The Christmas decorations have come down, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t still celebrate winter! Here is a round up of 15 of my favorite winter inspired mantels.  Now, if I only had a mantel myself…

1. Deer Taxidermy and Greenery Mantel

Who says Christmas lights should be put away after the holidays?  These vintage style blue lights look amazing draped on the deer’s antlers, and the asymmetrical greenery on the mantle just scream winter.  See the details at Chicago Magazine.

2.  Citrus and Greenery Mantel

More greenery?  I’m seeing a theme here.  The designer literally strung fruit from the grocery store into a garland and wrapped it around some greenery.  See more images of this beautiful fireplace at And George.

3.  French Antique Mantel

This winter mantel isn’t exactly themed winter, but it does invoke a warm, cozy feeling.  Check out the details at For the Love of a House.

4.  Silver and Faceted Mantel

My heart stopped at the faceted mirror, but the blue-gray candles and sheepskin really bring the style to this mantel.  See it at Hi Sugarplum.

5.  Old World Mantel

There’s something about this winter mantel that evokes an Old World feeling.  With the books and open frames paired with the starburst mirror, I think this is a great mantel that doesn’t even feature a single snowflake.  See more details at My Blessed Life.

6.  Magnolia and Citrus Mantel

Branches of fresh and dried Magnolia combined with citrus branches make this natural mantel gorgeous.  See the details at The Old Painted Cottage.

7.  Winter Pom Pom Mantel

This mantel decor was built around this darling pom pom garland, and I think it was a great choice!  See the full mantel at Hymns and Verses.

8.  Fresh Winter Flowers

Fresh grocery store flowers give this rustic mantel and wintery feel.  See this beauty at Songbird.

I love these and thank you for pulling them together. My favorite is #5. I have an oak mantle and surround and this looks perfect. Wonder what I can find to copy the main idea……..
