If you’ve been reading for any length of time, you know that I love paint – and particularly bold paint. I joked with a friend yesterday that I don’t normally go for colors described as “soft” or “light.” And to make it even more bold, I usually combine those colors with super graphic patterns and lots of bright stripes.
Now, I know that look isn’t for everyone. As my husband would say, “That’s a whole lotta look.” So for those of you who crave a little boldness but maybe just on an itsy bitsy, teeny tiny scale, I created a crazy easy spray paint project that you can do in an hour.
Darling, right? My little planter is just the right touch of funky boldness without going all Makely on your walls. It is spray paint season after all.
You can see the full tutorial and more pictures over on the My Colortopia blog that I help author for Glidden. While you are there, check out the other posts I’ve written so far this year:
- Protect Yourself With a Painting Mask While Spray Painting (Yes. I’m serious. I’m giving you the squinty mom eye if you aren’t doing it. You know the one.)
- Yes! You Can Paint Light Fixtures (Just use those masks, m’kay?)
Also remember that if you ever have any color or paint questions, you can submit them at My Colortopia. Just click the Ask a Question button and let us know what’s on your mind! Either myself or one of the other amazing bloggers who contribute to the site will answer it for you.
I have been sponsored by the Glidden® brand paint for PPG to write this post but the thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
