This post brought to you by LEGO. All opinions are 100% mine.
About two weeks before Christmas each year, I start bracing myself for the additional LEGO bricks that I will get to start stepping on as soon as the gift wrap is ripped open. Even though I feel like we have every brick ever created (and then some), there’s always a handful of LEGO sets on both of my kids’ Christmas wish lists every year.
As much as those little things hurt my feet like the dickens, I am incredibly grateful for them. Zack (7) and Emma (3) play together without arguing when LEGO is involved. They build the “tallest tower in the world,” act out movie scenes, and get lost in their own little worlds. They allow my children to spend hours lost in creative play, and I credit LEGO for much of their vivid imaginations.
Zack has recently gotten into LEGO Minifigures and collects the different series that LEGO puts out. I have it on good authority that Santa even has a couple to put in his stocking. He loves to mix and match their heads, hair, bodies and legs. So, when I found out that I could create a holiday card with our own little Minifigure family, I knew the kids would think it was awesome.
If you have a little (or big) LEGO lover, you can make your own LEGO Minifigure Family holiday card, too! Go to the site and add the number of family members (and pets) that you want to include. Then, you can customize their appearance and place them into your choice of backgrounds. Select a holiday message (or no message at all) and download the card or share with your friends and family.
