All Grown Up: A Little Girl’s Bedroom

by Lindsay Ballard on March 10, 2014 34 Comments

Well, I kept my promise.  I was able to completely transform my daughter’s serene nursery into the bold and colorful bedroom that reflects her personality, all without ever touching a paint brush to the walls.  If you’ve been reading for a while, you’ll know that that sort of promise makes me all twitchy, like a drug addict looking for her next hit.  But, I did it.

Sarah and I live in very different climates – she’s in Michigan and I’m in Texas.  So, I had to figure out how to adapt her bedding recipe so that my family wouldn’t get too warm at night.  I also have slightly different thoughts about how many pillows should be on a bed – probably because I’m so lazy about taking them on and off the bed when I make it.
