DIY Neon Paint Splatter Pillow

I’m Lindsay from The White Buffalo and I am so happy to be back on Lindsay’s awesome blog sharing my new favorite and super easy project.

As a girl who used to only love neutrals, I’ve really been breaking out of my comfort zone lately.  I am so on the neon train!  Are y’all loving the bright pops of neon that you’re seeing everywhere these days?

I also love the artsy look of paint splatter and thought what a lovely couple those two would make!

I had this $5 outdoor pillow sitting around that was a boring pale gray.

An Itty Bitty Bit of Bold

If you’ve been reading for any length of time, you know that I love paint – and particularly bold paint.  I joked with a friend yesterday that I don’t normally go for colors described as “soft” or “light.”   And to make it even more bold, I usually combine those colors with super graphic patterns and lots of bright stripes.

Now, I know that look isn’t for everyone.  As my husband would say, “That’s a whole lotta look.”  So for those of you who crave a little boldness but maybe just on an itsy bitsy, teeny tiny scale, I created a crazy easy spray paint project that you can do in an hour.

Darling, right?  My little planter is just the right touch of funky boldness without going all Makely on your walls.  It is spray paint season after all.
