Lindsay lives outside of Austin, Texas with her husband (Tom), children (Zack and Emma), and dogs (Duke and Jill). She plays roller derby for the Rockin' City Rollergirls out of Round Rock, Texas.

I used to boil off the bark of cypress tree rooots all the time in the 70’s as a kid when I was in the Boy Scouts down here in NE FL… After cutting select roots, I’d stain the wood with shoe polish and drill them through the center for the electrical cord, add an electrical light bulb fixture, and top it with a garage sale wood toned lampshade. They’re beautiful!
