Four Tips for Designing a Dream Nursery

by Lindsay Ballard on February 25, 2013 3 Comments

I’ve had babies on the brain a lot recently.  No, no, no.  I’m not pregnant.  That ship has sailed, that store is closed for business, and there is no more room at the inn.  In other words, our family is complete.

But, a lot of my friends have welcomed or are getting ready to welcome new bundles of joy into their lives.  It’s such an exciting time in their lives, and I can’t help but feed off of their anticipation.  Hooray for babies!

Anyway, I thought this would be a perfect time for me to share some of my favorite tips for putting together a dream nursery – that also happens to be realistic.

4 Tips for Designing a Dream Nursery | Makely School for GirlsPlease join me over at Glidden’s My Colortopia blog to read four of my favorite tips.  The article is centered around baby girl nurseries, but my suggestions are definitely gender neutral.  You future boy moms will feel at home reading it, too.

I’d love to get your thoughts and have you add your own tips in the comments section.  I’d love to be able to pass along your suggestions to my friends who are moms-to-be!

I’m curious…did you stitch a monogram in the oval frame that’s sitting on the shelf? I know I saw a picture somewhere but when I went back to look, I couldn’t find it 🙁

Hi Gina! I did end up doing a monogram in the frame. Since the frame was leaning against the wall, I just applied a vinyl monogram to the wall. It looks cool!

Here’s a picture of it: http://makelyhome.com/loose-ends/ And this is the shop where it came from: http://www.etsy.com/shop/back40life
