Let's Make Life Awesome
Back in the fall, I found out at the last minute that my son had to have a Duck Tape costume for an event he was attending. I mean, I’m sure I was told before the last minute, but I didn’t remember until it was almost too late.
The costume party theme was “Defy Gravity,” so Zack decided that he wanted to be a space shuttle. Using a white tee shirt and black sweat pants as a base, I made him into the best little space shuttle I could come up with.
I spent an entire day in bed due to a sinus infection – which NEVER happens.
Family came in town for a long weekend visit.
My son turned 8. EIGHT!
We got together with friends for a fun Super Bowl party.
We coached our team of Destination Imagination kids for an hour.
And then for four more when I realized at the last minute that school had early release.
That was followed by a two hour school delay due to (non-existent) weather conditions.
And then an entire day of school cancelled the night before because the chance of winter weather was 20%.
