If you missed last week, be sure to click here to find out what’s going on.
I don’t know about you, but the end of the school year has been killer. Emma is already out of preschool and and Zack has a few more weeks left of the 2nd grade. We’ve been running 90-to-nothing going to school activities, getting projects completed, and just doing everything we can do to cross the school year finish line!
To that end, I had a few favorite pins from last week’s linky party. The first was a cute map lap desk that Heather from Queen of Everything made for her nephew. They are going on a road trip this summer, and the lap desk has the shapes of each state they will visit.
Another favorite pin from last week’s linky party was Meredith’s tale about how she and her family survived canceling their cable television. Tom and I have decided that we are entering a summer of very little television/video games for the kids. We’re going to be doing projects, playing games, and {GASP!} going outside. I’ll still let them watch a little TV in the hottest part of the day, but it’s going to have to be earned and there will be limits. I’m trying to convince Tom that we can also live without cable (since we have Netflix and Amazon streaming), but he’s not so sure. I’m definitely going to be sending him Meredith’s post. Plus, cable is just ridiculously expensive (and our rate just went up, too!).
Be sure to link up your favorite pin from this week at the below linky party and maybe you’ll be featured! Click over to the other bloggers to see what their favorite pins from the party were, too!
My favorite pin from this week is one that is probably the most popular project on my blog ever – how to transfer a huge pattern onto a piece of wood. Pencil rubbing is great for small designs and carbon paper can get expensive. This little trick is so easy and will help you transfer huge patterns quickly!
Okay, so now it’s your turn! What was your favorite Pinterest pin this week? Link it up below, but make sure you follow the rules so that YOU can be featured next week:
– Follow the seven host’s Pinterest Accounts (the first 7 links in the party).
– Follow along on our Group Pinterest Board HERE.
– Link up to your direct pin, not your pinterest account or blog (click on one pin, copy that URL and paste in the link party).
– Hop around and meet new pinners and get some great inspiration!
– Want an weekly email reminder of the Link Up? Click HERE
Happy Pinning!
