The Promise.

by Lindsay Ballard on October 29, 2013 2,021 Comments

There was a time, when I was pregnant with Emma and in my flurry of insane nesting activities, that I made a promise to my husband. I promised that if he painted the nursery then, we wouldn’t need to repaint Emma’s walls until she was a teenager. We could update the furniture without touching the walls. We could add in different colors with furniture, accessories and artwork.

You know…as long as we found the right wall color. Or actually, the right combination of wall colors. And added crown molding and high trim around the wall.  I don’t ask for much.

Adorable, right?  And perfect for everyone – even those of you who aren’t forced to learn Texas folk songs in 7th grade Texas History class (Yes, an entire class.  That happens.).
