I spend a lot of time thinking about paint. If I want to be honest, I probably spend more time thinking about it than is healthy. Whether you send me an email or are a random stranger at Home Depot, I’m always happy to pass along my advice or opinion.

If you are heading to the SNAP! Conference for creative bloggers in Salt Lake City next week, you’ll have the opportunity to hear it from the horse’s mouth. My friend Diane from In My Own Style and I are leading a panel on everything you ever wanted to know about paint. We’ll share with you our experiences (the good and the bad) with different products and take questions from the audience about personal projects. Our panel is at 3:00 on Friday. If you will be at SNAP, a) let me know and b) PLEASE come meet me! I promise I’m really nice and approachable, and I’ll probably end up saying something stupid and unedited that you can laugh about. Somewhere along the way, I became obsessed with color. I haven’t been able to place my finger on exactly when it happened, but it’s almost like a switch in my brain got flipped and then the breaker short circuited. In a world of neutral, non-offensive color combinations, I find a little risk taking in my color choices thrilling. Finding the best paint colors for a room is like a treasure hunt to me.

I am frequently asked for the specific names of the colors I’ve used in my home, so I’ve put together this listing of my color choices. I’m working through my blah blah builder’s beige home a room at a time, so I will link this page in my sidebar and update it as I complete each room. I’ve also included links to the projects I’ve written about in each room.
