Feature Wall Friday: Bamboo Flooring Plank Wall

by Lindsay Ballard on September 20, 2013 8 Comments

Today’s edition of Feature Wall Friday highlights an amazing wall treatment made from bamboo flooring.  Really!  The wonderful Jackie at Teal & Lime got a little crazy and put flooring on her walls – and it looks so cool.  She’s a gal after my own heart.

Bamboo Flooring Feature Wall

Jackie shares the tutorial for installing her plank wall here.  The flooring was $1.99/sq foot, so it makes a big impact without costing a lot of money.

Please visit Teal & Lime to see Jackie’s other great projects, including the painted blue mid century dresser that I might steal from her house.  This girl has got it going on, y’all.

Have a great Friday!

I have a thing for wood accent walls and this looks like a really easy way to do it. Love the rest of the room too!

Wow…the plank wall really warms up the space. Who knew that flooring could be so cozy? Love the retro furniture pieces, too.

Really loving the multi-colored plank pieces. Look fantastic with the dresser. The blue works just perfectly with the design.

What a cool idea! It is always really fun to find something and then re-imagine how it can be used. The bamboo flooring on the wall is such a beautiful and creative idea. Thanks for the fun home improvement site. It has been really fun for me and my wife to peruse your various posts to get inspiration!
