Celebrate My Craft Channel’s Birthday with a $500 Craft Supply Giveaway

by Lindsay Ballard on October 1, 2013 2 Comments

You love browsing Pinterest to get inspiration for your DIY and crafting fix.  You love reading blogs, because you can get step-by-step tutorials along with a funny story or two.  So you must love visiting YouTube to see great videos of crafting tutorials, right?

Wrong.

Or, at least it’s wrong in my case.  It has been my experience that there’s a lot of muck to weed through on YouTube to get to the good stuff.  There is so much stuff on there that’s either poorly lit, bad sound quality or the projects are just not very modern or on trend.

But y’all, that’s where My Craft Channel comes in!  It’s a first-of-its-kind online craft TV network that features top craft celebrities from across the country. It brings the blogger, crafter and scrapbook community together in one place to provide inspiration through HD quality broadcasting in various categories, such as sewing, scrapbooking, DIY projects, home décor and party planning.

The crafters on MCC come up with adorable projects, and their videos are shot in a studio with great lighting, sound and video quality. Plus, most of the videos are relatively short in length (we’re talking less than 5 minutes each), so you don’t have to block off hours of your life to watch them.  This is a really great (and FREE) crafting and DIY resource, y’all!

Here are some examples of the recent videos that I love:

Tausha from Sassy Style showed us how to use your scrapbooking stash to make cute Halloween decorations without spending a lot of money.

Kristine McKay hosted Jonie Sumsion of Just Between Friends to share how she created this fun wood and scrapbook paper sign for her daughter’s reading nook.

Teresa Collins of Teresa Collins Designs teaches us how to make a cute Christmas banner from notecards.

You can follow the MCC blog to find out what new episodes have been posted, or you can search by show and watch all of them by your favorite host.  The MCC blog also features a daily deal – great craft products at prices usually below wholesale – that changes every day at 12 pm MST.  There’s also a shop that features some of their best selling products available anytime.

To celebrate My Craft Channel’s birthday, you guys get to participate in an awesome crafty giveaway! Someone will end up winning $500 in cute craft supplies plus a $50 Visa giftcard.
