Sometimes the AMAZING holiday weekend gets away from you, and a Sunday Pinterest Party becomes a Monday Pinterest Party.  Hate me.

I’m sorry to be such a loser and to miss posting the linky party yesterday! Well, actually, I’m not sorry because I was having a blast with my friends and neighbors and never wanting the holiday weekend to end. In fact, this is the first time that I’ve turned on my computer since Thursday…I hope you had an awesome time yourself!

Even with everyone being in holiday mode last week (or was that just me?) there were still some great pins linked up to the party!  One of my favorites is this DIY Mini Hanging Planter pinned by Leigh Anne at Houseologie.  I am obsessed with little wooden bowls, so I’m sure I have enough on hand to make this today.

Another project that I loved was this fun painted wooden charger plate pinned by Making it in the Mountains.  I’m a sucker for triangles and anything blue and green, so this immediately caught my eye!

My favorite pin of last week is the inspiration I am using for my son’s new shark themed bedroom.  You see, Zack wants his room to be full of sharks, because he is obsessed with them.  I want it to feel sharky without being full of sharks to avoid it having a “theme” (I prefer a “feel” to a “theme”). This vintage interpretation of the original Jaws poster is the feeling that I’m going for in that room.  I’m just in the planning stages, so I created a Pinterest board just for his room if you’d like to follow along (Or even send me pins and ideas for it?  I love that!).
