Welcome to another edition of Feature Wall Friday! Today we are talking about an incredible plate wall. This is a fabulous example that proves that a feature wall doesn’t have to involve massive amounts of paint or wood or stencils.
This wall belongs to Larissa at mmmcrafts. I absolutely love how the plates are curving around her table. It brings movement to the wall in an easy to replicate way. The big graphic patterns I like to use on my own walls are all about bringing movement to a room, but you don’t have to spend weeks of your free time to make it happen.
Head over to Larissa’s blog to check out more images and her tutorial for how she arranged the plates in such a great way.
Do you have any plates hanging on your walls?
This is great! I don’t know if it is a good thing or a bad thing that you shared it. On the one hand, I love seeing it and agree that it is a fantastic design feature. On the other hand, you are totally helping me rationalize my plate fetish. I ADORE pretty plates and china.
Oh this is just what I need to show to my mom. She has been keeping several china from way back gifts from their wedding and they are just inside a cabinet stacked on top of each other. I have been bugging her for quite some time now. I will show her this picture and hope (keeping my fingers crossed on that) that she will like the idea of putting those china into good use.
I have a few of the fern plates and am putting them up in my daughters room. I found them at a local SPCA store for a doller each.
Love the collection of plates!
